She was built in 1907 by George Smith Snr., Buckpool for R.Thain & J.Simpson as BF 762. Her length was 84'.50, breadth 19'.20, depth 8'.90, (26m long by 6m wide). She had a 16" compound engine by McKie & Baxter and was 84 gross registered tons, 29 tons net.
In 1915 she was registered by the same owners as BCK 201.
