Loyal Friend

8 March 1961

wrecks
The crew of five from the fishing boat Loyal Friend, were rescued by the Wick Lifeboat, City of Edinburgh, after their boat had run aground in choppy seas, on the Little Skerry, early in the morning.  The men were rescued from a rubber dinghy, as the lifeboat was unable to get close to the stranded vessel because of the rocks and shallow water.
