HMS Fiona

This Leith registered vessel owned by the London & Edinburgh Shipping Co., was employed as an armed boarding steamship when she ran aground on Clettack Skerry.

She was built in 1905, by Caledon, Shipbuilding and Engineering Co., Dundee. Steel built, she was 280' long by 36.1' wide by 18' deep and 1611 gross registered tons.  Her two boilers and three triple-expansion engines delivered 443 nhp.
