This Fraserburgh drifter was being towed west towards Stromness where she was to be used as a hulk. She broke away and grounded at Duncansby Head and became a total wreck. Possible position 58 39 00N, 03 01 50W.
She was wooden built in 1901 by Fellows, Yarmouth, for H.J.Sayers, Yarmouth as YH 359. In 1909 she was sold to R.G.George, Winterton. Sold again in 1913 to R.Noble, Broadse & R.Buchan, St.Combs. Registered FR 527 on 14 May 1913. Official No.111089. She was 74'.20 long had a breadth of 18'.30 and a depth 8'.30, (23m long by 5m wide). Her 14" compound engine was made by Escrett, Yarmouth and was 20 hp. She was 60 gross registered tons, 32 tons net.
