This Icelandic steam trawler (RE 258), stranded at Torness Point, Hoy, Orkney on 19 November 1933. It was was refloated on 28 November 1933 by the salvage steamship Bullger, but while under tow it suddenly capsized and sank three miles North-East of Dunnet Head.
The Geyser was built in 1908 and was 287 gross registered tons. Her dimensions were 41.1m long x 6.9. She had a triple expansion engine, one boiler and one single screw giving her a power of 86 n.h.p. and a speed of 11 knots.
