Dahinda

28 February 1859

wrecks
The Wick registered schooner, Dahinda, en-route from Newcastle with coals, drifted through the sound near the Proudfoot rocks, and grounded her bilge keel, but thankfully her crew were saved. By 10 March she had considerably broken up and portions of her hull, spars, etc., were floated round to Broadhaven and sold.

Classified as schooner, she was 113 net registered tons.
